Awards & Reviews

Guru3D

What's classy is that this series is backed by a cool five year warranty, so really it's hard to go wrong with this product. The 650W ZT offers good bang for buck and it's simply a very respectable power supply.

Hardware Heaven

The ZT is built well, sharing some similar external design aspects such as the solid chassis and even the cables are reminiscent of the higher spec unit. Inside we find a well laid out design with minimal heatsinks and nice little touches such as tied up wiring, sleeved cables and components secured in place with adhesive where required. In terms of performance this model in the ZT family does well. The 12, 3.3 and 5v lines are never move outside the rated specifications and the unit has no trouble delivering 750w of power. Noise levels are good and efficiency within the ratings outlined by the 80 Plus certification. Ripple results on 3.3 and 5v were well within tolerance and good for the PSU class. A good addition to PSU range which offers solid performance with a fully modular design, something which we rarely see in this class of PSU.

Tech Power Up

The biggest advantage of ZT 750W over the two opponents is the fully modular design which will make cable management a breeze. In the efficiency area all score about the same, with the OCZ ZT 750W showing a little better efficiency at very low loads. To sum up, I think that the OCZ ZT 750W stands very well against the competition in its specific price category. The fully modular design is a significant usability advantage over its competitors and along with the good price/performance ratio it is a good deal for someone who wants a reliable, fully modular PSU with long warranty. So if you want the easiest possible cable management then ZT 750W is definitely worth the money it costs.

PCKoloji

Although targeted at the middle segment the ZT-Series comes as a fully modular system which is even rare in the top segment. What makes it even more interesting is its very attractive price. The performance of this 80 Plus Bronze power supply is more than satisfactory and we believe made the right choice with the fan that is used.

HW-Journal (Germany)

The mark of true craftsmanship can be seen throughout the product as it has plenty of connectors is fully modular and delivers superior performance. On top of it all it also has a 80 Plus bronze certification and comes standard with a five year warranty period. Even price sensitive buyers will agree, this PSU deserves our Gold Award.
